Our one-day course is a full day of hands-on, in-person training led by one of the UK’s top heating engineers, bringing real, current experience from the field.

You won’t just sit and listen. You’ll work through real scenarios, apply our unique 10-step process and build a complete system design from start to finish.

1 day, changes everything

Over one day, you’ll move beyond rules of thumb and start making decisions based on how heating systems actually work.

You’ll work through a real heating system design with your trainer, step by step and understand how heat loss, flow, pipework, emitters, pumps and controls all connect.

By the end, you won’t just know the steps. You’ll understand why they matter.

What you’ll do on the day

You’ll design a heating system from the ground up, working through each step in sequence:

• Understand the property and heat loss
• Set the flow and temperature to match the job
• Work out emitter performance
• Size the pipework and deal with resistance
• Choose and set the pump
• Apply controls that make the system work as a whole

By the end of the day, you’ll have put a full system together and understood the decisions that determine how well it performs.
